Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Dimi Angelis has been actively involved in the Dutch techno scene since the late nineties, his legendary raves at various locations still speaking to the imagination of many. Techno freaks abroad must know Dimi from his Counterpart and A&S project (w/ Jeroen Search). As for Dimi’s dj-sets, he can venture into the deepest of house or the bloodiest of nosebleed techno, but he always stays true to himself and to the music in its purest form. Tensal is a project of Hector Sandoval (one half of Exium) from Spain, based on cyclic lines and vintage synthesizers. In the Polegroup family, he has also released extremely compelling techno tracks on his Tensal label, Tensal A through E, among many other cutting edge releases. Another returning artist to the Tresor decks Giuseppe Maffei alias Z.I.P.P.O is an Italian DJ who prefers to use a variety of sounds and styles to create his own unique brand of sampling. With several solo releases and innovative collaborations, Z.I.P.P.O also worked in a project along with a Detroit underground legend Fanon Flower. The result was named ‘EP SAV_002’ produced by the label Suburban Avenue. Kuf is a vocal-led group that has no singer on stage at all. All vocal elements are based on self-recorded samples which keyboard whizz kid Tom Schneider melds and bends and squeezes in real time. With no artificial synchronization in place, Valentin Link on bass and Hendrik Havekost on drums push the disembodied, highly abstract voices into an arena of hyperintegrated realtime magic. The rhythm section hints at the great history of dirty funk and r’n’b, but the grooves are firmly of today: dance-centered and broken up at the best possible joints. Together with fellow Arsenik label artist Dolf they will share the Tresor basement space tonight with a special live set for the occasion. Fellow label artist Swedish producer and DJ Adam Craft compliments the line-up. In 2004 Craft moved to Stockholm where S100 was eventually formed. With S100 Adam carved sounds, noise and visuals from digital and analogue hardware and the group released both ambient tracks and techno . Now a solo artist, his influences now encompass an even broader musical landscape than before, but it always comes down to finding that soul and vibe regardless tempo or energy.

In the +4Bar: Colin de la Plante aka The Mole is able to pull either inspiration or wax for his house-heavy DJ sets and live presentations from a diverse range of sounds, from Disco to Jazz, Hip Hop to Funk. Low-key and loved by many, the rambling captain of Maybe Tomorrow boasts a steadfast commitment to keeping it groovy…and weird!! With a career spanning over 20 years, the Modern Deep Left Quartet and Units & Measurements member also has has released his third LP titled De La Planet. The 11-track release is the latest addition to The Mole’s quite brilliant discography that features a long and colorful list of releases—for labels like Perlon, Ostgut Ton, Slices of Life, Haunt, Musique Risquée, New Kanada, Internasjonal, Maybe Tomorrow, and longtime home Wagon Repair. Expertly produced and energetic, the LP remains true to this ethos but feels distinctly new, too. Don’t miss this innovative night of sample-heavy, jaw-dropping arsenal of synthesizer sounds to celebrate the album’s release.
