Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
The meeting of two cutting edge Finnish techno minds, Deep Space Helsinki is the merging of talents Samuli Kemppi and Juho Kusti. DSH is also a label and the name of their long-running radio show. A techno aficionado with over 30 releases, numerous remixes and gigs from Buenos Aires to Shanghai, Samuli Kemppi is one of the best known techno exports from Finland. Kemppi’s musical style draws from the deeper frequencies of deep house and techno and is known for his incendiary performances that are hard to beat. Juho Kusti started playing records in 2001 and has been producing music since 2012. Juho Kusti also promotes Deep Space Helsinki events at Kuudes Linja in Helsinki. We welcome the duo for a deep, spacey night in the Tresor basement. Idealism is the driving force behind all of Milton Bradley’s thoughts and moves – a fact especially prevalent in his musical output. With years of experience in Berlin’s electronic music scene, Bradley has built up a reputation as a decisive and forward-thinking artist with a versatile yet thriving sound. “Do Not Resist the Beat!” was the label he founded in 2008 and aside from much production work and touring worldwide, Bradley started a collaboration with Grounded Theory associate and good friend Henning Baer. To date they have released four highly acclaimed EPs presenting raw and effective quality techno. Milton Bradley has become one of the most promising producers within the genre, whose dystopian, industrial-influenced and tripping sounds are also representative of his internationally-acclaimed DJ sets. And we welcome back Deeply Rooted artist Insolate from Zagreb, formerly known as Miss Sunshine, she is a DJ, producer, label owner and a promoter in business for 20 years now and considered as one of the best techno artist from Croatia. In Globus, Moritz aka Leibniz. is a DJ/producer from Leipzig, representing the openness and curiosity of the scene in the Southeast in the best way: his style of mainly techno and house does not think of the intersection of the two music foundations over the consensus level Techhouse, but over a mix with bass, garage, Grime and disco. “Maybe I’m going to make a transition, but I’m definitely not boring as a DJ,” he says of himself. Co-founder of Hundert Records, we welcome Leibniz.’s live set tonight on the Globus Floor. Constantly looking to redefine his barriers and enhance his sound design skills, Dona has been plumbing the depths of Electronic music, ranging from Jungle and Drum Bass to House and Techno by passing thru Ambient and Electronics. His project DJ Plant Texture, has been one of the main outputs of his aesthetic path along the last years. 2016 has welcomed with warmth DJ Plant Texture’s revisitations and reinterpretations of the UK Low Fi Jungle, D&B and Hardcore flavors, as testified by his releases on 10Pills Mate (Lobster Theremin Side Label), Unknown To The Unknown and Creme Organization. Frequent Tresor Club guest Ron Wilson returns to the decks, the Tanzmichmal boss and Submarine / 777 artist always creates a fine clubbing mix for the Globus Floor so expect some heavy dancing during his set. Two Beste Modus artists B2B: Stefan Marx is stevn.aint.leavn. Following his love for dance music and the fattest of fat-ass drums, Stevo currently floats between rough old school house and banging techno-ish productions, and is also co-founder of Certain Circles. Martin Goldyn is Porter, whose January Beste Modus podcast only certifies his unique turntable talent, as well as his appearances in many of Berlin’s underground venues. Those who know these two artists will surely get a buzz from this B2B Globus Floor special.
