Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
David Moufang aka Move D’s records with partner Jonas Grossmann as Deep Space Network, and his own solo releases as Move D are among the furthest outreaches of techno’s push towards the stars. Moufang’s debut album, KUNSTSTOFF (1995) was quite remarkable in becoming a legendary German techno recording, and he has also collaborated with none other than Pete Namlook. Listen to his Kunststoff album and you will know. Another unique fusion was suggested by the release of Conjoint (1997). A collaboration between Moufang, jazz veteran Karl Berger, Jamie Hodge (of Born Under A Rhyming Planet) and Gunter “Ruit” Kraus, it was Move D‘s most overtly jazzed outing so far, but provided spectacular evidence of his growing abilities as a producer and composer. Richard Zepezauer is owner of the label “n s y d e”, providing him with his own personal way of keeping this focus alive. The broad range displayed in his DJ sets testifies of his lifelong passion for music and record digging, and his recent cooperation with various renowned 20th century classics ensembles is a testament of Richard Zepezauer‘s diversity. With over 30 years of combined dancefloor experience, Possible Futures have been witnesses to the wildest fauna and flora the great nocturnal jungle has to offer. Sourcing their inspiration from the many shades of color that co-exist between black and white, it is through the open and eclectic selections of inspired and devoted luminaries that Possible Futures have found their manifold sound. While the minds of Possible Futures float in the air with their bodies rotating behind the turntables, their feet are steadily rooted in reality, enabling their musical knowledge to unfold beyond the night. Through their own record label, Possible Futures share their therapeutic musical blends.
