Following a decade of producing and DJing as Hrdvsion, Nathan Jonson steps out under his birth name to mark a new stage in his career. His impressive discography, spread across labels such as Wagon Repair, Balkan Recordings, Rinse and International Deejay Gigolo, hints at a producer who has valued diversity above all. His records have long been turned to by DJs right across the board, always guaranteeing them a striking and unusual sound. Now, without the pressure to surprise and re-invent, Jonson can go deeper into his craft and pinpoint what it is that linked his output over the years. Pablo Roman-Alcalà is Beaner aka Penetrated Tweeter. ogether with C.L.A.W.S. he is WarVsSleep and is one third of supergroup the 3 Good Doctors with Agaric and Ed Davenport. A residency at Berlin’s Bar25 (the studio 54 of the sexting generation) and releases on a smattering of recording labels followed. An artist bouncing between San Francisco and Berlin, we welcome him to the House of Waxx decks. Norwegian-Algerian DJ Karima F cut her teeth in the electronic music scene of Malmö whilst doing a fine arts degree. Upon returning to Oslo, she took up a weekly residency at the renowned club Jaeger. It was here Karima F developed her style and music collection to the point where international bookings followed. She can be found playing all over Europe, including performances last year a few top Berlin clubs, Lost Village Festival and Øyafestivalen.
