Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Dasha Rush is a Russian-born artist who sees the genre as a starting place, not a destination, combining her activities as a DJ and techno producer on her Fullpanda imprint, which she founded in 2005, with other multi-artistic collaborations alongside visual artists or dancers. Dasha Rush can safely be counted among the pioneers of the post-millennium experimental techno composers who already in mid 2000 began to wed industrial robustness with ambient textures and minimalism attitudes, and as a result newly defined the functionality of techno’s concept. Fabian Kempe aka Korridor is in the business of creating passages – both for himself and those who come in contact with his music. With highly acclaimed releases on Hypnus Records, Nordanvind and Northern Electronics over the last few years, Korridor has swiftly become a household name in the European electronic music scene. However, Fabian Kempe is by no means a novice. He has been active within the music scene as a producer under various monikers for over 12 years. The paths have been winding but they all lead up to the defined philosophy of Korridor. Returning Brit artist Stephanie Sykes belongs to the league of yet young artists, a fact that is hard to believe when you consider her Fullpanda debut “Luna Tactus” together with Fjäder aka Ina Matsdotter. Her ambient-techno concepts are accessible and positioned for special cold and lonely hours. This is due part to her residency at the revived tradition night Atomic Jam, where Sykes regularly provides the sound of one of techno’s cutting-edge epicenters: Birmingham. Italian artist Alessandro Gaja debuted in 2013 on Repitch, and also records on his own Ophism Record label, focused on releasing rusty, live recorded analogue jams of underground acid techno, electro and lo fi synthesizer music. Gaja’s releases on Ophism include “Nanook”, “Money Create Taste” and “Slaves Of The Future”. In Globus: We welcome back French techno creator DJ Deep to the Tresor decks. DJ Deep is a techno and house producer and DJ. He runs the Deeply Rooted label, formerly Deeply Rooted House. Twenty years in, from house to techno and everything in between, DJ Deep has immersed himself in the ebb and flows of music, be it NY, Chicago, Detroit or today’s current pulsating waves. Fellow French artist Antonin Jeanson aka Antigone is today a leader and mentor for a whole new generation of electronic music producers and DJs. His entry into the world of electronic music has been highly acclaimed with his initial EP Forbidden Works published by Construct Re-form. Antigone followed his debut with the Menace of Species release on Concrete Music, offering him a warm welcoming by his peers. Relentlessly prolific in the studio, among his plethora of works and collaborations is 2017, as his skills as a remixer have seen him rework Slam’s classic « Positive Education » for the 25th Soma Quality recordings anniversary amongst other upcoming projects. Both DJ Deep and Antigone will be DJing in Globus ALL NIGHT LONG so get in the French house groove!
