Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Blush Response is Joey Blush, a Berlin-based, Cuban-American artist and sound designer. A fascinating, vibrant new artist, he frequents the outer realms of post punk, industrial, techno, you-name-it and has a plethora of releases on cd, vinyl, digital and even cassette tape format to date on labels like Sonic Groove, Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Ant-zen, and Total Black. Blush Response’s music is characterized by a modular synth heavy approach to sound design, combining rough, glitch-heavy beats with thick, distorted synths to create a sound that blurs the lines between electronic genres. Nikola Grebovic aka Scalameriya is a producer, live-performance artist and DJ from Kragujevac, Serbia who also runs and records on the vinyl/digital Ganesa Records label. Influenced with old-school techno, he is trying to mold his own version of energy in electronic music. With more than 40 releases behind him, Scalameriya appears on top respected labels. Sid+Eddy aka Schwefelgelb is a Techno Body Music duo from Berlin. Their 2017 EP “Dahinter Das Gesicht” appears on [aufnahme + wiedergabe] and is now out in third pressing. The powerful physical aspect of their music is being represented in their live shows, which they complement with synced strobe lights and projections. They have performed all over Europe and in Canada and Japan. Basement resident REKA enhances this top line-up with her signature techno set. In the +4Bar: Robert Dietz’s Berlin-based label ‘TBT’ aims for originality and creativity, boasting music with character. Influenced by metal and punk in the late 80s and 90s Dietz musical progression from hip-hop, drum and bass to techno and house was a journey. Wanting to explore as many different genres as possible experimentation has always been at the forefront of his ambition. Whether at venues or festivals from New York to Ibiza, he continues to give audiences what they crave, demonstrating an effortless flexibility and flair. With his popularity growing world-wide after touring everywhere from Australia to South America and a fearless attitude for experimentation, Dietz continues to celebrate both old school and forward-thinking house the way it should be; but always with that unique Dietz edge that projects his own individual sound and talent. Roger Reuter is Roger 23, futurist, vinyl collector/lover and DJ. As a DJ, Roger 23 pairs a mountainous knowledge of music and innate sensibility for hypnotizing people under his electronic spell. His magic wand is ready, yet again, to transform the dancefloor into an intergalactic musical adventure. Bernhard Robert aka Berni has released records on Portray, Rivulet. Jonas Palzer has released records on Lackrec, LACK Rec. VS Magic Power, Portray, Rivulet. Their tracks ‘The Story About Something‘ and ‘The Story About Something Else’ on 2016’s “Soft Lights EP”, plus tracks on Portray’s 2016 “Never Stop” EP reveal sharp edges and rougher bass drums – let them get you kickin’.
