It’s been just over a year since Rossko stood behind our decks: 15 years immersed in London’s electronic scene’s, from Jungle, Garage, Grime and early Dubstep you hear pinches of these in his sound of today. Blurring his past influences with the current House & Techno cuts alongside a crate digger’s mentality, his DJ sets are timeless and intelligent always hinting towards that edgy London vibe; full of rolling bass-lines, slick percussion and skippy hats. One of the original residents at London’s Fuse, Rossko continues as A&R for Infuse (Sister label of Fuse London), featuring regularly on Rinse FM, Fuse’s monthly prime time radio slot as well his continuing his reputable project & label with Archie Hamilton as ‘Arkityp’ – all of which will see releases from the above this year. Now Berlin-based, his upfront grooves and infectious vibe behind the decks reflects his passion for the music, capturing an artistry and a total understanding of the dance floor. Samuel Thalmann is Okain, whose first release came in 2007, and launched the career of an exciting new voice in electronic music. Over the years, he has evolved into an accomplished artist with sets in some of the finest venues in the world. He has also participated in a lot of projects such as Handycraft, the alias he used to have in collaboration with Paul Ritch many years ago, and after relocating to Berlin in 2011, Okain has established his own musical imprint Talman Records, where he can freely release the music he loves. Per Hammar, with Berlin and Malmö in the south of Sweden as territory, is the captain behind his labels Dirty Hands, 10YEARS (together with Maya Lourenço a.k.a Parallax Deep) and the club instance Kiloton. Dirty Hands works as a home base and headquarter for his dustier works. Dub and dusty sounds are some of the signalements from the vinyls and tapes of the label. Per Hammar and Kajsa Lindström’s club Kiloton has been a reliable source of quality dance music since 2010, offering the crowd of Sweden club experiences on regular basis.
