Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Detroit-born, Berlin-based Alan D. Oldham is not only one of techno music’s most accomplished ambassadors but also a producer, composer, remixer and a very well-known graphic artist. Performing and recording under various monikers (notably DJ T-1000, Detroitrocketscience, to name just two), each revealing consistent individual, high-quality uniqueness, Alan D. Oldham is a maverick of the genre with no intention of slowing down. In his early days he toured briefly with UR which contributed to his solid techno style. When he’s not behind the decks or in the studio producing electronic dance music for labels like Tresor Records, Bpitch Control, Inzec (CH), Minimalsoul (CH), or his own Pure Sonik and Generator imprints, Oldham has provided artwork for the electronic music industry for almost 20 years, exhibiting in galleries the world over. With his own no-nonsense brand of bangin’, funky-ass techno he is a frequent guest in the most famous clubs and festivals on the planet. When DJ T-1000 is on the flyer, fans know he’s bringing the ruckus. A friend and label family member of Tresor for many years, we welcome Alan D. Oldham back in our home tonight. We are also pleased to welcome another terrific set from Frankfurt’s Robert Drewek, founder of Rawax: providing delicious sets of groovy house with techno impressions, Robert founded his own record distribution DBH Music in 2007 with Alex Bau and Jörg Henze. The tight cooperation between Rawax and House Of Waxx has continued a formidable cooperation with Monday nights in Tresor Club. Today DBH is one of the most important record distributions for electronic music and the home of Drewek’s Rawax which had an amazing impact in the scene from day one. Not only as label owner of Level Records but also as DJ, promoter and club-owner Daniel Fritschi has set his mark, following his musical visions. Daniel Fritschi has been an active member of the Düsseldorf Music Community since 1995. His illegal underground club EGO opened in 1998 and in its time was highly influential on the music scenes of Düsseldorf and Köln. The project concluded in 2001 with a compilation double-CD and catalogue “Live sets at EGO 1998-2000” which received international attention for featuring some of the best electronic artists of the time. Fritschi started his record label Level Records in 2004 and making his debut-appearance on the level1 quartett 12″ EP. In 2007 Daniel Fritschi was founding member and resident DJ of the “Particle Riot” collective. Over the course of 2.5 years the collective would present numerous Level Records release parties. In the spring of 2010 Daniel Fritschi began his largest undertaking to date when he organized the “c|o level festival” in the massive foyer of an old, abandoned theatre located in the center of Düsseldorf. In 2016 Daniel Fritschi completed his enduring vision of bringing together the music and art scenes in a newly created underground setting called “Golzheim” where hosts weekly events and plays alongside local and international guests as resident DJ, strictly vinyl-only sets.
