Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Infected by the young wildness of the underground and the hypnotic raves in shady basements and warehouses in and around Hessen (Stammheim, U60311, Airport – Germany) Eve Schwarz started taking an active part in the scene after she had moved to Munich. Her style can be dark and hypnotic or hard, industrial and pushing, but when you hear her play you will find her sets are always full of intense energies and very impulsive. Eve Schwarz’s main influences are the rough techno and schranz sounds of the late 90s in Germany, the distorted stompers of the UK, NL or France and the intense industrialism from Greece. Eventually moving to Frankfurt and immersing herself in diverse projects, in 2016 she had her own floor at the RAWK nights in Tanzhaus West. Meanwhile located in Berlin Eve is starting to settle in order to focus on equipping and mastering her own analogue studio – inspired by the diverse vibrance of an international music and arts culture. Léa Occhi is a French Techno DJ based in Berlin, co-founder and resident at Spectrum in Paris. Inspired by Berlin culture and the LGBT community, Léa definitely knows how to make the people dance. Her music always oscillates between rhythmic techno and deep bass lines. In 2018, Léa Occhi played at the wildest parties and venues of Paris, like Concrete, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Wanderlust or Le Gibus, sharing the booth with top international talent. Both of these talented new faces are hosted by Tresor resident and female:pressure artist Kaltès, a musician, DJ and curator living between Berlin, having been hosting the female:pressure nights in our home for quite some time. She has an extensive background in music and studied jazz and improvisation in Brussels, before giving in Berlin’s darkest shade of techno. Kaltès’ versatility as a DJ and producer has grown over the years to harder-hitting techno, infused with her unique sense. Her skill and depth across all her musical activities prove that “light doesn’t shine without darkness”, as one critic put. Kaltès is equally at ease building romantic, heady soundscapes as well as infamous techno.
