Key Cargo Edition producer Sven Tasnadi returns to the Moon Harbour sister label with a new four track EP entitled Motore Grande. The German producer has long been a craftsman of fine dancefloor grooves for labels like Cocoon and Pokerflat, with this EP yet more evidence of his ability to combine sleek minimalism with plenty of techy energy.

Opener ?Sneaky Beatz? is a liquid groove that marries firm, rough edged bottom ends with ever evolving percussion and some swirling party atmospheres up top. It?s perfect dancing material with plenty of charm, where next track ?Cata? has busier snares snapping out a brisk pattern. This one builds in stages, with well-designed hits cutting through radiant pads and some muffled voices bringing the human element that makes people go ?yeaaaah? on a dancefloor.

?Motore Grande? is powered by icy hi-hats as they glide along above another delightfully wavy bottom end: it shakes this way and that, drawing you in with subtle builds and release of tension for 7 micro-evolving minutes that eventually jump out of the speakers with the arrival of some distant trumpets and busy little melodies.

The pinging bass notes of ?Don?t Touch? go deep, with watery FX and percussion adding to the liquidness overall. Polished and well produced, cowbells, sunset synths and more carefully deployed vocal samples all add up to yet another irresistible Tasnadi jam.

Far slicker and more involved than your average tech house offering, these four tracks explore plenty of emotion and bristle with life like some sort of late night street carnival.
