Perc is one of electronic dance music’s reference points: an internationally touring DJ, Perc Trax label owner and one of the most respected producers in techno today. Known as one of the most forward-thinking individuals in techno Perc (aka London based Ali Wells) fuses current sounds with his extensive knowledge of electronic music’s past to create something new & unique. Appearing on top international labels and in the world’s most famous venues, Perc’s sound is a fusion of the cream of current techno mixed with choice selections from electronic music’s forefathers, and we are pleased to welcome him back to the Tresor decks tonight. Inspired by a raw and urban UK techno lineage, returning artist Kieran Whitefield aka Ansome‘s drums are heavyweight, his percussion fierce and his synths full blooded. All in all that makes for a live set that grabs your attention and drags you along for an enthralling ride. Littered with his own field recordings, it can be variously eerie or boisterous. Besides producing and releasing music on many top labels, Ansome also keeps busy by running his own label South London Analogue Material. Returning artist Anthony Arcana is Ayarcana from Italy, producing some very powerful techno on the Vae Victis Records, S.L.A.M. and Parachute Records labels, among others. Complementing the basement line-up is one of our best residents REKA who will slam down an excellent techno set. In Globus, multitalent Tobi Neumann lives in Berlin. He’d already made himself a name as producer of commercial jingles and movie soundtracks when he got infected with electronic music at the ’95 Love Parade. Soon he’d become resident DJ at Munich’s Ultraschall II where he hosted the legendary Flokati House Club since 1998. Tobi Neumann is now in the artist roster of Sven Väth’s DJ-booking agency Cocoon. His productions for Chicks On Speed, 2Raumwohnung, Miss Kittin a.o. made Tobi Neumann one of the driving forces in the German house and electro scene. As resident at Paris’ legendary Rex Club, Molly has established herself as one of the city’s brightest talents, combining passion, integrity and talent to launch a successful DJ career and producing several key releases for labels such as Rekids, All Inn, AKU and Karlovak. Through hard work and dedication to her craft Molly has built up a sterling reputation, traveling across Europe to play at some of the continent’s most influential clubs, as well as picking up bookings further afield in South & North America, Asia and Australia. A polished DJ, accomplished producer, A&R and now a label owner, too, Molly is a professional who embodies the true spirit of house and techno. For the last 12 years, Berlin-born Janina developed an impressive sharp ear, technical skills, an asserted signature, despite continuously evolving music tastes. Playing regularly in the best clubs in Berlin and in European capitals, Janina is now playing twice a month as a resident of Monasterio Club in Moscow.
