Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Steve O’Sullivan is a UK based producer releasing on Sushitech and on his own labels Mosaic and Bluespirit. Steve produces slowly evolving, very minimal, soulful club tracks on his labels Bluetrain and Green, showing his love for subtle sounds and dub effects. He also ran the Bluespirit label, on which he collaborated with Ben Sims, Lee Grainge and Russ Gabriel. Mosaic offers a sound between house and techno and features, apart from his own productions as The Wise Caucasian and Ephebe, releases from Paul Mac, Aubrey, Downlink, Mark Broom and Mark Ambrose, to name just a few. The monthly club night “… Get Perlonized”, hosted and curated by Sammy Dee (as in last June in our home), is one of the most prestigious club events Europe-wide. It has a certain illuminating power up it’s sleeve, that can not be gained by promotional exuberance or by worshipping at the altar of capital return; but with musical consistency – keywords that encompass and define everything the Berlin born artist does. Sammy Dee is one half of the House project Pantytec who released their debut album “Pony Slaystation” in 2002 and toured around the world twice. Thanks to his splendid DJ skills he is resident in famous clubs such as E-Werk, Robert Johnson, Ostgut or Tresor. As resident at Paris’ legendary Rex Club, Molly has established herself as one of the city’s brightest talents, combining passion, integrity and talent to launch a successful DJ career and producing several key releases for labels such as Rekids, All Inn, AKU and Karlovak. Through hard work and dedication to her craft Molly has built up a sterling reputation, traveling across Europe to play at some of the continent’s most influential clubs, as well as picking up bookings further afield in South & North America, Asia and Australia. A polished DJ, accomplished producer, A&R and now a label owner, too, Molly is a professional who embodies the true spirit of house and techno. For the last 12 years, Berlin-born Janina developed an impressive sharp ear, technical skills, an asserted signature, despite continuously evolving music tastes. Playing regularly in the best clubs in Berlin and in European capitals, Janina is now playing twice a month as a resident of Monasterio Club in Moscow. At 16 Franky Greiner got his first regular gigs as DJ in Frankfurt/ Oder in club Kulturfabrik. His additional residency @ Yaburizuguri found him mixing eclectic sets of House, Drum & Bass, Trip Hop, Jazz, Hip Hop and Rock. With Daniel Ramm he founded the Projekt Pikaya in 2001. By 2010 Franky Greiner was to be heard in most of Berlin’s best underground venues and we welcome him back after his House Of Waxx debut last January. In the basement: JoeFarr is a gritty techno producer and DJ with a string of EPs on various underground labels, including 2016’s fine “Spectate” EP, an entry in the Berlin Leisure System label’s Gridlock series; his full-length “Sense of Purpose” the same year on Bloc; or this year’s lauching of his own User Experience label. Sometimes dense, sometimes aggressive, JoeFarr’s techno turtablism is fine-tuned perfectly for the Tresor Floor decks and we’re eager to crash the floor for his set. And we welcome back again with pleasure to the Tresor decks Spanish DJ Artik, now Berlin-based and whose unsettling ambience and hammering percussion break up the rhythms that define Artik as a young artist still remaining of the top watch list. Lucindo has Italo-Brazilian origins and now resides in Germany. He began to produce electronic music with long-time friends Ascion and D. Carbone, with whom he shares the record label 3TH, the platform where his productions are released. Lucindo’s DJ sets are as powerful, mental and acidic as his own productions, characterized by distorted industrial rhythms and acidic patterns, accompanied by noisy, emotional soundscapes.
