female pressure is an international network of female, transgender and non-binary artists in the fields of electronic music and digital arts founded by Electric Indigo 20 years ago: from musicians, composers and DJs to visual artists, cultural workers and researchers. A worldwide resource of talent that can be searched after criteria like location, profession, style or name. The vision: female:pressure intends to strengthen networking, communication and representation – a standard instrument to obtain information about artists, contact them, and find out about other, maybe less known women in electronic music all around the globe. Every artist listed in their database is able to keep her personal entry up-to-date. The network comprises over 2250 members from 75 countries as at August 2018. Tresor has supported female:pressure from the beginning, and the club nights have become famous for their edgy and contemporary uniqueness. Tonight we are proud to host a celebration of these very important 20 years!
